APU Services for Muslim Prayers

Many of you who are not muslim may ask ...

"Whats so special about Friday for Muslims ?"

It is reported by Imam Muslim, Abo-Dawod, Al-Nesaii, and Al-Termithi, that Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H.) had said, "The best day during which the sun have risen is Friday. It is the Day Adam was created. It is the day when Adam entered paradise and also when he was taken out from it. It is also the day on which the day of judgment takes place."

So this is a brief explaination of why it is important for muslims.  I am so lucky that Malaysia is a muslim country and special thanks to my university that they have a shuttle arrangement for muslims students to mosque and back to university. As for normal days, there is also Surau in APU.

You my fellow readers, I don't know if you're an international student or local Malaysian .... But I can wear my Shalwar Kameez to prayers or to everywhere I want in Malaysia. And  Since it is a traditional attire for Pakistanis, I can wear to college to attend my classes too.  And seriously trust me you won't get that weird stares from people around you when I wear my Shalwar Kurta.

This is something I find very unique in my university that any student can wear their traditional clothes on Friday.  For me, this is best day of the week not just because it is special for muslims but also because it is the starting of the weekend.
