However my university is such that an academy that can attract students from all over the world even from different continents. From middle east to South East region.
I have a junior who her classmates have over 20+ Indonesian students in her intake. So she invited me to stay back for the Indonesia Independence day event.
Event started sharp at 6:30 pm, my university's foyer was decorated with mini stage, spot lights, their culture's arts and decorations around and of course chairs for the audience.
Around 7pm, the whole area was packed with people up till 2nd floor. I can't believe what I saw, a strong community of Indonesians helping each other out to actually make the event happening. I envy their teamwork and patriotic passion towards their motherland.
Their traditional clothings are somehow almost similar with Malaysia's Malay traditional clothings "Baju Melayu" and "Baju Kebaya"
These are the photos taken during the event ;)

Yesy a Indonesian Chinese Accounting and Finance student.
Jo Lynn a Malaysia Chinese IBM student, and I mentioned Erisa :)
I'm so lucky to work together with Yesy and Jo Lynn as part of the student ambassador team !
You can see that all the students hang out together and cheer for the event. The girls starting from the left is
Zainab from Tanzania, then Joohrah Tanzania, then the guy's name is Asad from Uzbekistan :)
The event ends with tuck of war activity. It was a competition between international students (mix) with a whole full team of Indonesian students. I joined the mix team girls and guys joined too. Joined 3 times, lose 3 times too LOL.
It was EPIC tired at the end of the night but I did enjoyed myself throughout the whole event. Looking forward for more cultural events ;)
